New exciting Challange from our Instagramers Ticino

on the occasion of the exhibition “A Window on the World” currently on display at the Museo d’Arte and Museo Cantonale d’Arte of Lugano we are happy to present the photographic challenge
Unafinestrasulmondo!
The window is one of the most recurrent and fascinating subjects in the history of art : it provides a frame around the landscapes that we observe from inside our homes, it is a boundary between inner and outer worlds, between reality and imagination. Take part to our Instagram photographic challenge and show us your own “window on the world”!
Rules:
1. The challenge is open to all Instagramers
2. In order to take part to the challenge follow @museodartelugano
3. Each participant can post only ONE photograph
4. The photo must have the hashtag #unafinestrasulmondo
5. The challenge ends on 9 December 2012 at 24:00 (GTM)
6. The museums staff will select 10 photos which will be up for vote @museodartelugano from 12 to 16 December 2012.
7. Votes are valid through 16 December 2012 ore 12:00 (GTM)
8. The winner will be announced on 16 December at the Museo d’Arte on the occasion of the guided tour of the exhibition for the Instagramers
Ticino community. The winner will be awarded a copy of the exhibition catalogue.
The challenge has been organized by the Museo d’Arte and the Museo Cantonale d’Arte in collaboration with Instagramers Ticino @igersticino

Lavazza with a big challange for instagramers
26.09.2012 - To all coffee & photography lovers: Lavazza is celebrating its 20th Anniversary and hosting a global contest!
Tag your photos with #operaviva up to 31 October 2012
The photos must have the following themes: neon, lights, signs, billboards, dreams and their interpretation, darkness, WAKING UP, getting dressed and putting on makeup, WORK, SUN, SHADE, RUSH HOUR (people in transit/moving about), HOME (returning home, keys in the lock), FOOD, RECREATION and coffee (with the associated values: pleasure, social interaction, relaxation, energy, sensorial experience, passion).
The community managers will select the most beautiful and meaningful photos and pass them on to the artist Marco Brambilla (www.marcobrambilla) who will digitise and edit them so that they become a digital artwork that will be published starting in January 2013.
There are no limits to the photos you can tag. Remember that the photos must be original and, where possible, taken especially for the initiative. The photos will also be visible on the application and on the Lavazza website. Only pictures that comply with Instagram’s terms of use will be published
The pictures and videos sent to the talent scouting initiative will be published on the project website (operaviva.lavazza.com online from 25 September) and will also be accessible through the Iphone app and from Lavazza’s Social Network pages (facebook, twitter …) or other company websites again in relation to the talent scouting activity. They may also be made public and used as part of other company’s institutional, promotional or advertising initiatives
